When I was growing up at Hinkle, our Pastor Ward Applegate always said the following Scripture at the end of his closing prayer. It has stuck with me all of these years and I think it is a good reminder for me to be careful what I think and say. Maybe it's a good word for all of us today. Just wanted to share.
"Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer" Psalm 19:14

Please pray. I just returned from the Hospital and learned that Joanne Randall has suffered a heart attack and a massive stroke and is in hospice at Riverview. The family asked if we could remember them and Joanne as they go through this rough time. She is such a sweet person and enjoyed coming to Hinkle to Worship with us. May God be with her during this difficult time.
